Crestron and TD Maverick have announced a partnership to distribute Crestron SR throughout Europe.
Designed in partnership with Microsoft, the Crestron SR is built for Skype for Business which brings an HD AV experience to meeting rooms, which can be deployed and managed on the network.
The partnership reflects the hybrid nature of the product with Crestron partners, the Pro AV channel and IT partners all buying through the distribution channel.
Maverick’s collaboration team will spearhead the introduction of the product to the channel through its 19 countries.
Ted Colton, VP of UC strategies at Crestron explains; "Working with Maverick on the distribution of our Skype Room System presents a fantastic opportunity for Crestron to expand rapidly to meet this product’s potential across Europe."
Crestron SR has been engineered to integrate with a large range of meeting rooms; from small and midsize spaces to larger conference rooms. It’s possible to join meetings, make calls and instantly share content in room and remotely, all from a touch screen device.
Jon Sidwick, Vice President Maverick Europe commented; "Crestron is a flagship AV brand, bringing to market a cutting edge product which will work brilliantly for corporate businesses already working with the Crestron or Microsoft ecosystem. The product is walk up and use and its connectivity will make it a presentation tool for larger meetings. We see huge opportunities for integrators merging AV and IT products, opening new opportunities for further control systems and automation."
