Conference Rental is expanding its presence in Europe with a UK office that will add local support and a permanent inventory to its technology offering in the country.
The provider of technology for multilingual conferencing was founded in San Francisco and, in addition to its US presence, has an office in Paris.
Andrew Murphy, managing director of Conference Rental, said: “There is a real demand in the UK for innovative event technologies and, within our specialty field, Conference Rental is equipped with the most advanced solutions that can meet this demand. This is how we can offer added-value to AV partners and language service providers to be successful and expand our reach in Europe.”
Conference Rental’s London office and warehouse is located near Canary Wharf and London’s Excel exhibition centre.
Liam Joy, who has worked for Conference Rental in New York, is heading up the company’s UK activities as key account manager in London.
This month Joy worked on a bilingual training seminar for South American and European corporations, delivered in partnership with a local hotel AV provider. He said: “I think it is very comforting for companies here to know that they can rely on experienced partners for their specialty conferencing needs, with a convenient and rather immediate service.”
