Philips and Crestron create AVoIP displays with DM-NVX plug-in
Philips Professional Display Solutions and Crestron have created a native AVoIP solution for Philips large format displays, using the Philips PDS open pluggable specification (OPS) port.
Crestron worked with Intel to provide a network encoder, the DM-NVX-D80IoAV, allowing audio and 4K video to be distributed across networks.
The DM NVX decoder plugs into the Philips OPS port, powered by the display and allowing for integration with Crestron XiO Cloud, an IOT based platform, with the ability to monitor, manage and control each display from a single location.
The DM NVX network AV can also transport audio, USB and control, capable of delivering an image over any network including 1Gb, 2.5Gb, 5Gb or 10Gb.
