Lanner releases new signage platform
Lanner Electronics has released the LEC-7105, a rugged mid-range digital signage player.
Using the Intel Atom D525, this fanless appliance has a 1.8GHz embedded CPU, with extra Intel features such as Intel graphics and high bandwidth LAN ports.
The embedded system, designed for digital signage and other industrial applications, has both VGA and DVI video outputs and an eSATA connector to attach to external storage devices.
This I/O port powers and connects external SATA devices, offering connection speeds up to 3GB per second. The appliance has 2 Mini-PCIe expansion slots, so users can have both Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity.
