Genelec reveals two new loudspeakers

Genelec has targeted indoor commercial and professional installations with its 4020A and 4030A two-way active loudspeakers.

The models were designed for the fixed installation market and have new connectivity and other technical features created with professional installers in mind.

Both of the models in the new 4000 Series are fitted with ‘Phoenix’ screw terminals. Genelec says the audio performance is further enhanced by the 4000 Series’ integrated amplifier.

The in-built protection circuitry is claimed to guarantee the reliability of the loudspeaker system in all operating conditions, drivers are electronically protected from signal peaks and misuse of the system.

‘Room Response’ controls including calibrated bass tilt, treble tilt and bass roll-off, optimise the loudspeaker’s response to different acoustical environments. Mounting simple: the integrated support points for Omnimount 20.5 series hardware on the enclosure back panel, and the 3/8” UNC threaded hole at the base of the enclosure.
