ISE boasts record year
Organisers of ISE have reported a year on year attendee growth of 15% after recording 51,003 registered attendees for its 2014 event in Amsterdam.
This year professional development activities were ramped up with InfoComm and CEDIA training programmes as well as seminars on the show floor.
ISE has steadily attracted a growing number of on and off-site events. Notable absences for 2014 included the Wainhouse UC&C Summit and InfoComm’s Future Trends summit.
However, the Smart Building conference and the AV Networking Forum returned and this year saw the addition of the new Investor Showcase. InAVate journalists will provide in depth coverage of these events in the What’s New Pro AV title, published this month.
As the show closed on February 6, on-site rebooking for ISE 2015 had reached 33,450 net square metres.
David Labuskes, CTS, RCDD, executive director and CEO of InfoComm International, said: “What started out as a small show in Geneva 11 years ago has blossomed into a truly thriving event. That first ISE was an important early step in our association’s journey beyond its US borders, but would be largely unrecognisable to this year’s ISE attendees.”
ISE returns to the Amsterdam RAI next year, February 10-12.
