Electrosonic promotes Rob Smith to EMEA service role
Rob Smith has been promoted to be Electrosonic’s general manager of service for EMEA.
His responsibilities will include service sales, managed services, service and maintenance and service administration for users of AV systems within the corporate, control rooms and leisure markets.
“Rob was a natural choice for the role of General Manager of Service EMEA” commented Sarah Joyce, Vice President EMEA. “Throughout his two years at Electrosonic, he has shown great dedication and passion for every project he has been involved with. He will now use his knowledge and inherent leadership skills to continue to develop the service business throughout EMEA. I am delighted to congratulate him in his promotion and look forward to working closely with him in this fundamental area of our business.”
Rob has spent twenty years in the AV industry, initially as an installation and service technician, then performing the roles of service manager, project engineer and project manager, responsible for delivering projects and ensuring customer satisfaction. Prior to joining the AV industry, Rob served in the Royal Air Force as an avionics engineer.
