Dekom named as a top growth company
German video conferencing firm Dekom has been chosen as one of the top 500 growth companies in Europe during the European Growth Summit at the European Parliament in Brussels.
The Hamburg-based firm, which was formed in 2002, was honored for their achievements in generating sustainable growth and jobs and came in 70th place.
“We are very proud of this award,” says Dekom CEO Jörg Weisflog: “The last financial years have been dedicated to international expansion, and we are pleased that our efforts also here gain recognition.”
Since 1997, Europe’s 500 Association, supported by the IESE Business School, has been publishing the list of the top 500 growth entrepreneurs in Europe. The ranking uses the Birch Employee Growth Index, analyzing seven criteria: entrepreneurial involvement, independence, turnover, employment, organic growth, company size and age. Candidates are selected from a database of more than 20 million companies.
