Regional Sales Manager – North, Dalen Limited (TOP-TEC)

Dalen Limited, now in their 60th trading year, are a leading manufacturer of technical AV and IT furniture which is predominantly sold into the education market. They are currently seeking an experienced field sales professional to join the team with responsibilities for achieving sales targets in the north of England (approximate area is north of the M62 up to the Scottish border).

The role is home based with the successful candidate being located no more than 30 miles from the sales area.

Your Responsibilities

•  Grow business levels in the area by finding new accounts to resell our products

•  Find new businesses that need specialist furniture e.g. desking and meeting room      solutions

•  Ensure that your sales opportunity pipeline is accurate and kept up-to-date at all  times

•  Support other team members in the achievement of any team targets

•  Develop existing accounts

Skills Required

•  A minimum of 2 years’ experience selling into the Audio Visual, ICT or Technical  Furniture markets

•  Business or technical degree, ideally with focus on sales, or a comparable training

•  A thorough knowledge of time management and territory planning

•  An entrepreneurial spirit in finding new business opportunities

•  Demonstrate a good technical understanding

•  Excellent verbal performance skills supported by image based presentations

•  Tools for the job include company car, laptop and mobile telephone
