Aurora Multimedia launches HDBaseT range

The DXE-CAT-Sx extenders from Aurora extend HDMI 1.4, bi-directional IR and RS-232 and LAN signals via HDBaseT.

The range includes the DXE-CAT-S1, DXE-CAT-S2 and DXE-CAT-S2L. The S2L model is said to be unique amongst similar products in that it includes a built in control system at the receiver end. It has 8mb storage on board for hosting a web control page enabling control of IR or RS232 connected devices.

It also includes a 2-port Ethernet switch  at both ends allowing connectivity of IP capable displays and components.
