NTi offers audio testing of tablet PCs and smartphones with FX100

NTi Audio has bolstered the FX100 Audio Analyser with externally-triggered glide sweeps for audio testing of playback devices, such as smartphones, tablet PCs, MP3 players and medical appliances.

The company’s externally-triggered glide sweep technology allows users to obtain all relevant quality parameters such as frequency response, distortion, phase and Rub & Buzz within a few hundred milliseconds from a short signal chirp.

NTi says the glide sweep signal contains unique audio information for automated synchronisation to the FX100 Audio Analyser and shortens the test cycle time, while increasing test depth.
