Visualplanet releases OEM solution to protect against UV

Visualplanet has introduced a touchfoil with ultraviolet (UV) blocking, an OEM solution specifically designed for manufacturers of interactive outdoor display solutions.
Introducing an optically clear protection layer, the touchfoil is said to block 98% of UVA and UVB sunrays. This protection layer has been integrated into the touchfoil to protect LCD panels against the risk of long-term exposure to UV and saves both time and money as it removes the need to apply separate protection. The touchfoil with UV blocking is applied to the internal side of the enclosure's glass to protect the LCD and reduce the time and cost in maintenance and replacements.
