Yamaha announces updated Dante interface

PLASA 2012 saw Yamaha announce updates to its Dante-MY16-AUD interface card which will allow devices to control the head amps on the company’s new Rio i/o rack-mount interface.

The card upgrade is applicable to the PM5D, M7CL, LS9 and DME devices thanks to update firmware on the Dante card and a new version of Audinate’s Dante Controller software.
The update is available as a free download from Yamaha’s web site.
