Slim public display with edge LED lighting from NEC

NEC Display Solutions has announced the MultiSync X401S, a 40-inch LCD public display that combined LED-lit efficiency with a slim, light design.
The 1080p panel features ambient light sensing, adjusting the brightness accordingly, with a maximum output of 700 cd/m2. It is also DICOM compliant, opening it up for use in medical applications.
The X401S also includes NEC’s heat management system and OPS v2 slot technology for the integration of single-board computers without the need for external stowage. Like as XS Series displays, it can be operated in portrait mode and includes SNMP support for remote control.
