TDMaverick supports Vision sales with web based configurator

TDMaverick is bolstering support for resellers ordering Vision products with a web based configurator tool that simplifies the selection process into three steps.
The Techconnect Configurator, allows resellers to select which modules they need as part of their AV faceplate in a graphical way. The user selects the modules, then the mounting system, followed by the cables required.
Peter Morrison, Vision business manager at Maverick, said: "The new Techconnect Configurator gives even non-technical users a quick and simple tool for install specifications. If some of the selected components come in a package, the configurator will select this option automatically to ensure the customer gets the best possible deal. The reseller can then choose to email the specification to themselves, or place it directly into their shopping basket."
Mounting and cabling options are suggested to users automatically, based on their initial module selection. For example, if two modules are selected, the single-gang surround is suggested. If a black surround is selected, the system will suggest a matching black backbox. The configurator will also make suggestions for appropriate cables based on the modules selected.
The Vision Techconnect Configurator is available across all Maverick websites throughout Europe and on Vision’s website. It can also be embedded into reseller’s e-commerce websites.
