Barco boosts MediCal Mobile software for iPad 3

Barco's latest version of MediCal Mobile software, for viewing DICOM-quality medical images on the iPad, is compatible with Apple's third-generation products.

MediCal QAWeb Mobile offers a Visual Confidence Test featuring up to 20 dynamic test patterns. The application allows medical professionals to review and diagnose clinical images on iPads.

The release provides extra QA test methods features a third and server-based integration option so radiologists can view DICOM-quality images using a web browser.
