AVM offers short-term rental of high-spec projectors

Audio Visual Material has launched a professional trade rental service for high-end projectors after it pinpointed a gap in the market for short-term rental of these models.
The company is providing Christie projectors, including the WUXGA 10,500 ANSI lumens WU12KM and the high definition 10,000 ANSI lumens HD10K-M. The distributor says it can advise on models suitable for warping, edge blending and 3D projection, as well as Christie Microtiles and a range of projection screens.
Mark Nisbet, managing director of AVM, said: “We’ve identified a gap in the market for professional, highly specified projectors for short term rental. With our specialist technical team, we can promise meticulous servicing and maintenance to ensure products are fully calibrated and operational before leaving our premises.
“As most specialist projectors are a big investment and will probably end up sitting on an event company’s warehouse shelf for 75% of the time, it makes financial sense to hire them in as and when needed.”
