Ingram appoints Sony executive in AV push

Ingram Micro (UK) is forging into AV and digital signage markets, appointing ex-Sony manager Raj Pandya as head of Audio-Visual.
Pandya is returning to Ingram from his position as general manager of B2B channels at Sony in Weybridge, where he has 12 years of experience with the manufacturer.
Matt Sanderson, managing director at Ingram Micro (UK), said: “Raj has been brought on board to spearhead our drive in the growing AV and digital signage markets and will lead the expansion of this business unit as we look to continue our investment into growth segments”.
Pandya added: “I am clear with the opportunity that exists for a global brand such as Ingram. I am looking forward to helping Ingram achieve their goals in this channel and look forward to cementing a leading position as the AV distributor of choice”.
