Mood Media acquires Benelux systems integrator BIS

In-store media provider Mood Media corporation has announced the acquisition of BIS Group, a Benelux based provider of audiovisual services.
According to the news release from Mood Media:
Lorne Abony, CEO and chairman of Mood Media said “We believe that BIS’s sophisticated and comprehensive installation capabilities will enable Mood to better capitalize on its tremendous visual market opportunity and grow its visual recurring revenue base more efficiently”.
“The acquisition is in lock-step with Mood’s growth strategy of driving organic sales growth by enabling the enlarged group to offer an expanded range of products and services. The integration of Bis with Mood also offers further opportunities to centralise and realise scale economies from the combined organisation.”
BIS might not be a household name to those outside the AV industry, but it’s a €46m company with a decent customer base in the Benelux market place. Competing companies in the region expressed surprise at the news that one of their major competitors had been bought out.
