Matrox Launches Mura MPX Series Fanless Video Wall Controller Boards

Matrox Mura MPX Series fanless video wall controller boards build upon an already revolutionary design as the first PCI Express (PCIe) x16 Gen2 board class to feature both HD resolution inputs and outputs.

New fanless models use the same high-performance, single-slot design with 64 Gbit/sec duplex data transfer and feature four HD outputs and either zero, two, or four HD inputs for maximum I/O flexibility. Fanless Mura boards have no moving parts, helping to further increase Matrox products’ reputation for long-lasting reliability. The ability to create quieter systems is meanwhile accompanied by exceptional scalability and versatility. One board can be used to power a small video wall controller for conference room and classroom presentations for example, while multi-board configurations can serve as medium and large-scale command and control systems. With support for High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) capture and output, Mura is also a viable digital signage solution. Compatibility with high-density Mura MPX-V8, MPX-V16 analog NTSC/PAL/SECAM video input boards and Mura MPX-SDI output capture boards further ensure Pro AV integrators are able to meet their individual requirements in regard to number of channels and sheer functionality – no matter how big or small the project at hand.
