Prolight + Sound off to a running start

Prolight + Sound 2012, which is taking place in Frankfurt, Germany this week has got off to a flying start, with busy halls characterising day 1.

Several major pro audio companies have made exciting launches in the mixing and console arena, audio networking and rental loudspeaker space. Martin Audio gave a first public debut to the MLA Compact, whilst Yamaha has revealed its CL series of next generation digital consoles.

Audinate has also had a good day one as several companies announced the adoption of its DANTE protocol as their digital networking solution. These include Symetrix and AuviTran.
