Crestron to unveil powerful compact touch screen

19 January 2012

Crestron has announced the release of its new compact 2.8” touch screen, the TPMC-3SM. It will be on show at ISE 2012 on stand 1.F2.

The new model expands on the TPMC-4SM line by presenting a discreet, stylish and affordable product that is designed to fit into a single gang wall box.

Crestron’s 2.8” device, with the convenience of one-touch control for lights, HVAC, all AV sources and room booking facilities now offers the end users a compact solution for an uncomplicated and stylish office, which is also easy to install.

The scaled-down design is intended to fill the gap between pushbutton keypads and in-wall touch screens.

The TPMC-3SM is compatible with Crestron’s building management software, Fusion RV, and comes with the layouts pre-set, delivering a powerful room-scheduling solution for commercial buildings, schools and University campuses.

An Ethernet connection from a corporate LAN is all that's needed to wire the TPMC-3SM. Power over Ethernet (PoE) removes the need for a local power supply or any dedicated power wiring.
