NEC bolsters Office Cool range with mobile LED projector

NEC Display Solutions Europe has launched a mobile LED projector. The L50W is part of the company’s Office Cool portfolio.
The LED technology ensures fast start-up and shut-down with direct power off.
It weights 1.2kg and measures 226mm by 174mm and 43mm deep. It supports connectivity over HDMI, VGA and RCA. A built-in office viewer function means that most common presentations, documents, images or videos can be displayed directly from an SD card or USB thumb. Audio is handled through a 2W speaker or external speakers can be connected through a standard 3.5mm jack.
It has a brightness of 500 ANSI lumens and a contrast ratio of 2,500:1. The WXGA (1280x800) resolution DLP projector suits a range of mobile business scenarios and small-to-medium meeting rooms. The L50W also incorporates features such as a lens shutter, auto key-stone and a remote control.
The L50W draws 100W when in full use. Users can expect around 20,000 hours use of the projector without changing the light source.
