Polycom introduces VC content management tools

Polycom has introduced video content management solutions in an effort to provide its customers with a single unified platform that automates the creation, management and delivery of video across an organisation.
The solutions were introduced after the company acquired Accordent, a purchase that allowed it to push into the content management and delivery market.
Polycom video content management solutions include capture tools for major video use cases, including delivery of scalable live webcasts from a studio, providing automated rich media webcasting from meetings or classrooms, adding a streaming extension to video conferences and enabling user-generated content from the desktop.
Furthermore, the Microsoft-based Accordent platform strengthens Polycom’s native integration with Microsoft Lync and SharePoint solutions.
