Prolight + Sound completes recovery

The organisers of Prolight + Sound 2011 say that visitor numbers for this year’s show have returned to the levels seen in 2009, following a 10% drop in 2010.
In its summary release, Messe Frankfurt announced that a total of 33,781 visitors attended the show, from 107 countries. Another pleasing statistic was the international nature of those visitors. The number of visitors from outside Germany has increased by almost 10% from 2009 levels to 49%. Leading contributors of international visitors were Netherlands, Italy and Austria, with China sending the most attendees from outside Europe.
