Genelec boosts colour options for 8000 Series

Genelec will display new colour options for its 8000 Series of monitors at Prolight+Sound 2011 in Frankfurt, Germany.

The 8000 Series is suitable for near-field monitoring, mobile vans, broadcast control rooms and surround sound systems. The range produces high SPL output, low colouration and broad bandwidth. The Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDE) and advanced Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW) are designed to provide good frequency balance in difficult acoustic environments.

Genelec will also be pushing its extended warranty scheme at the show, which extends the warranty period of a product from two to four years.
