EV speakers at the races

Dubai – The Meydan race course in Dubai can accommodate over 60,000 spectators at a time. The sound reinforcement system includes more than 4,500 EV loudspeakers, a fully redundant CobraNet infrastructure, N8000 NetMax digital matrix controllers and CPS multi-channel amplifiers.
Dubai-based Almoe AV systems installed over 21 remote racks, as well as designing a new horizontal network for the system. They also made use of the site’s existing vertical network. A total of 43 N8000 network controllers were used, supervising 114 channels of CPS amplification via a single IRIS-Net executable.
Almoe programmers Sundar and Kanna created the necessary GUIs for both the race course and hotel systems.
