TV One appoints new R&D manager

TV One has announced the appointment of Paul Burfield to the position of R&D manager.
New to TV One, Burfield is not new to the digital video electronics industry. He is a 25 year industry veteran with an extensive technical background in areas such as project management of R&D teams, FPGA and mechanical board design, software, and EMC/CE requirements with companies that includes the BBC, IBM Microelectronics, NEC, and Petards EIMC.
Regarding the move to TV One, Burfield says "I am delighted in becoming R&D manager for TV One, as the company is recognised for producing world leading video processing equipment. With my many years experience in the industry I plan to focus on our key products. In particular by enabling the team to develop more TV One solutions based on the proprietary CORIO system."
