Calibre UK has lifted the wraps off the latest member of its HQView family of image scalers, switchers, and warp and blend processors.
The HQView500 is a universal scaler, switcher, and scan converter with geometry correction, boasting 3G-SDI input and output capability. The processor is backwards-compatible with HD-SDI and SD-SDI formats, and will accept a wide range of HD, SD and computer inputs including DVI, HDMI, YPbPr/RGBS, VGA/RGBHV, S-Video, and Composite PAL, NTSC, and SECAM.
There is built-in support for both progressive and interlace output modes, and genlock to bi-level sync, tri-level sync, or black & burst. HQView500 also has powerful pan-zoom-tilt for selecting an area of interest and generating custom aspect ratio images.
