Genelec supports surgeons in Haiti

Surgeons treating victims of January’s earthquake in Haiti used Genelec’s 6010A 2-way Active Loudspeakers while they worked in the disaster zone. The Finnish manufacturer donated the speakers to the Red Cross following the massive quake that measured seven on the Richter scale.
Finnish surgeon, Asko Salmi requested the speakers, which are the same models as the units he has installed in his private Helsinki clinic. When Salmi returned from Haiti he left the speakers for others to continue using.
