New serial interface integrates voice evac and fire alarm

In line with the latest European Standards, Bosch Security Systems is offering a new “one-stop-shop” solution for fire and voice alarm integration.

The Bosch Fire Alarm systems use a serial RS232 interface which is connected to the Plena Public Address and Voice Alarm system. The RS-232 interface allows supervised control of up to 120 voice alarm triggers and ‘smart’ Voice Evacuation control via Bosch’s Fire Panel 1200 and the Fire Panel 5000 series.
