The Smart-e SmartIP is an upgrade board for Smart-e matrices

Available as an additional option on all Smart-e AV matrices, the SmartIP combines IP control with a web-browser interface for configuration and direct control.

SmartIP is a hardware board that can be retrofitted to existing Smart-e matrices as a separated 1U chassis, or supplied integrated into a new matrix. Using an embedded Linux OS, the unit features a dedicated CPU to limit impact on the performance of the matrix.

IP control is provided via a Telnet connection with a choice of static dynamic IP connection. Both ports use a new control protocol based on ASCII characters, making for simple and quick use. And additional RS232 port is also available implementing the same new protocol.
