AMX adds iPad support

AMX has announced that its systems and devices are controllable by the new Apple iPad, adding it to a list of devices which currently includes the Blackberry as well as Android and Windows platforms.

AMX offers integration technologies that communicate in both directions – Apple to AMX and AMX to Apple. There are two applications on offer, one pre-designed and customisable interface for using products like the iPad to control an AMX system.

Similarly, AMX offers applications that allow AMX technology to control music or video on Apple devices.

According to Apple, existing integration applications will run on the iPad, so the existing AMX tools for the iPod/iPhone are expected to work on the iPad upon its release.
